The Ingleby Barwick War Memorial was erected in 2013 by the community funded Town Council. The granite stone is located at the end of Lamb Lane, in Romano Park. In November 2016 railings were erected around the memorial stone. Each year the community gathers for an annual remembrance event on remembrance Sunday.
Ingleby Barwick Remembrance Day 2017 will take place on Sunday 12th November, with a remembrance service at St Francis of Assisi Church at 10am followed by a procession to the war memorial in time for the 11am silence, and wreath laying. The wreaths will remain at the war memorial until January.
